School and Business Related Announcements

The following are Osage County school and business announcements related to the Coronavirus outbreak.

School Information

Government

Assessor's Office: Starting April 1, the Assessor's office is going to a skeleton crew, but will be open as usual. Please call 573-897-2217 or email osagecountyassessor@hotmail.com.

Chamois City Hall is open during the normal hours of operation (weekdays 10am - 2pm), but closed it to the public. Please call or put correspondence and payments in the drop box.

County Clerks Office: Starting April 1, 2020, the Clerk’s Office will be working remotely and doing business by appointment only. Please contact them via email at osage.county@sos.mo.gov or by social media Facebook Page, Osage County Clerk. If you leave a message their office phones, 573-897-2139, they will return your phone call the next time they are in the office.

Linn City Government: City of Linn - Effective Monday, April 6, the Fee Office will be by appointment only. We will not have any walk ins, this is to cut down on the amount of people waiting.
- The Fee Office is currently opened from 10-4, closing from 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch and closed on Saturdays.
- City Hall is still open, citizens are encouraged to pay bills by putting them in the drop box, mailing them, paying online or over the phone.
- The parks will remain open but, closing the playgrounds.

Linn License Fee Office has changed hours to 10 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday, closed on Saturdays. Appointments are available for those in the community that are high risk and most vulnerable, Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 10 am. Appointments will need to be made at least one day in advance during our business hours. This will continue until at least April 5. Phone Number 573-897-4012

Church Information

Catholic Parishes: All Parishes in the diocese have canceled public Masses till at least April 3, but Masses are being live streamed on parish Facebook pages.

Community Christian Church will be doing online services only March 22, March 29, and April 5. All activities at the church will be done in an online format as well. Office hours will remain Monday Through Thursday 8am-3pm to continue to help people.

First Baptist Church, Linn MO has cancelled all services and meetings and will re-evaluate on April 1

Restaurant Information

Dave's Pizza & Wings - offering delivery within 10 miles of the establishment for the month of March

Serendipity Coffee & Tea - no inside seating until further notice, drive thru only.

Business Information

American Family Insurance, Mike McDaniel Agency, Inc. – Staff working from home. Lobby access by appointment only.

Argyle Pub & Grill - Effective Friday, April 10, we will be open for carry outs only until further notice.

Core Family Dentistry - Extended closure through May 1. Available for dental emergencies only.

Legends Bank - ALL LOCATIONS - will have regular drive up hours with limited lobby access.

Mid America Bank as of 3/20/20, will have normal drive through hours with limited lobby access.

Screen Printing & Embroidery LLC has changed to appointment only. We are doing most things by email or text at this time. The contact numbers are 573-897-5757 or 573-418-6357.
